Who we are
TrueNorth Channel Advisory is an independent channel and distribution strategy advisory based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question, contact us at info@truenorthchannel.com.
Information you provide to us
When you submit the consultation request form or the TrueNorth Diagnostic intake, we collect what you enter: full name, company, work email, phone number (optional), your profile (e.g. vendor, distributor, investor), country in scope, the practice areas you need help with, and any free-text description of your situation.
When you complete the Channel Health Scorecard, we collect your answers and the resulting scores, together with your name, company and work email, and optionally your role, job title and country. Before showing your results, we check that your email address's domain can receive email (a standard DNS lookup, which sends nothing to you), and we then email you a copy of your results.
If you interact with Rosa, our AI assistant, we collect the content of that conversation. If you choose to book a call through Rosa, we also collect the name, email, and meeting time needed to schedule it.
If you pay for an engagement by card, the payment is handled by Stripe through a secure payment link. We receive confirmation of the payment along with the billing name, email address, and amount — we never receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The only client-side storage we use is a small entry in your browser's local storage to remember your language preference — it never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
How we use information
- To respond to your consultation request or Diagnostic submission
- To show you your Channel Health Scorecard results, email you a copy of them, and, where relevant, follow up on them
- To prepare and schedule a consultation, including calendar booking where requested
- To have a working conversation with Rosa and, where relevant, summarize it for our team so we can follow up appropriately
- To maintain the security and functioning of the site
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you separately opt in to one.
How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that operate the site and the tools built into it, strictly to provide the functionality you're using:
- Netlify — hosting, form submission handling, and short-lived technical storage used to prevent duplicate bookings and duplicate results emails
- xAI — powers Rosa, the AI assistant you may choose to speak or chat with
- Microsoft (Graph / Teams / Outlook) — used to check calendar availability, create meeting invitations, send internal summary emails to our team, and send you the scorecard results email you request
- Stripe — processes card payments made through our payment links, including Apple Pay and Google Pay
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TrueNorth, our clients, or others.
Data retention
Form submissions and consultation requests are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if an engagement follows, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period for our records. Short-lived technical data used solely to prevent duplicate meeting bookings is automatically deleted within 24 hours. To prevent duplicate scorecard emails we keep only a one-way fingerprint of your email address, never the address itself, and it stops being used after 24 hours.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or ask what we hold, by writing to info@truenorthchannel.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Because our service providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries, information you submit may be processed outside the country where you are located, including outside the Middle East. Where this happens, we rely on our providers' own safeguards for cross-border data handling.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here.
